Antonio Mellino to bring Quattro Passi to Dubai

Antonio Mellino is set to open Quattro Passi, his first restaurant in the Middle East, at Viceroy Palm Jumeirah Dubai, when the hotel launches in late 2016.

With two Michelin stars, Quattro Passi is regarded among the Amalfi Coast’s best restaurants, with another establishment in Mayfair, London.

Bringing the flavours of Campania, Southern Italy, to Dubai, the restaurant will offer signature dishes prepared using fresh Mediterranean ingredients flown daily from Italy.

Mellino and his team presented a teaser of Quattro Passi’s offerings with a takeover of the kitchen at Amici at Yas Viceroy during the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Notable dishes included ravioli filled with smoked provola cheese and rocket salad; spaghetti with sea urchin; and fillet of seabass in a tomato, caper, olive and basil sauce.
