Sumo Sushi & Bento has launched a mobile app with customised preferences, promotions and rewards-based offers for its users. The app will be available for iOS and Android phones starting May 1, 2018 across the UAE.
The company’s global marketing & communication manager said the app received positive reviews during its soft launch at three of the company’s outlets.
On the app, a new loyalty programme will allow users to collect ‘Kenji coins’, order for delivery directly from the app, refer to contacts on phone and Instagram using the customised referral programme, tag locations, make reservations, share on social media as well as provide feedback.
Users can collect Kenji coins on every purchase, according to a statement from the company. To earn coins, AED 1 is equal to one Kenji coin, and to redeem 10 Kenji coins for AED 1, the statement said.
The Japanese franchise currently has 16 outlets across the UAE, Oman and Bahrain.
