Top five new lunches to try in Dubai
1. Reflets par Pierre Gagnaire
Fine-dining French restaurant Reflets par Pierre Gagnaire, at InterContinental Dubai Festival City, has added a tempting new twist to Friday dining with the launch of its Culinary Lunch menu.
The four course lunch is available for AED 250 per person from 12pm - 2pm, every Friday. Wine matching is available for an additional AED 140 per person.
Olivier Biles, head chef at Reflets par Pierre Gagnaire, said: “Reflets’ new Culinary Lunch menu has been designed as a demure alternative to the traditional brunch experience and will widen the Friday dining landscape here in Dubai.
“Our lunch menus are always popular and we expect the Culinary Lunch to be no exception. It will be particularly appealing to first-time diners at Reflets and is the perfect introduction to the wonderful and exciting culinary world of Pierre Gagnaire himself.”
2. The Ivy
The Ivy at Jumeirah Emirates Towers has launched a business lunch aimed at the busy executive. Available now, the lunch offers a two-course set menu including a coffee or tea and a petit-four. Starters include a crispy duck, ornage and watercress salad, while cod served with creamed leeks is one of the main course options.
Priced at AED 150, The Ivy Business Lunch is available Sundays to Thursdays, 12pm-3pm.
Armani Hotel Dubai’s Milan-inspired deli Armani/Peck is introducing two new lunch experiences from this week.
Diners can choose from a two-course Power Lunch menu for AED 130, or three courses for AED 160, comprising a choice of two appetisers, two main courses and any dessert from the display.
Armani/Peck will also host a new Friday brunch from September 30.
4. Jumeirah Emirates Towers
The Rib Room, Mosaico, Al Nafoorah, Vu's restaurant and Tokoyo@thetowers, all located at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, have launched specific lunch menus that will run during September and October.
The Rib Room lunch menu is prixed at AED 110, a three-course menu at Vu’s is priced at AED 150 and Tokyo@theTowers is offering Lunch Express for AED 70.
For authentic Lebanese cuisine, Al Nafoorah offers a menu with selected beverages for AED 110.
The world’s highest restaurant located at Burj Khalifa has introduced the High Lunch, offered both at the At.mosphere Grill and the At.mosphere Lounge.
Executive chef Dwayne Cheer said: “We have put together an innovative and delectable menu, created to suit the needs of business executives. The High Lunch at At.mosphere is about delicious food keeping in mind guests time constraints and is perfect for those who want to take a refreshing break from routine office lunches or give their business schedule a new twist.”
The ‘High Lunch’ at the At.mosphere Grill is served from 12.30 to 2:30pm and is priced at AED 200 per person for a two-course meal and AED 300 per person for a three-course meal. The ‘High Lunch’ at the At.mosphere Lounge, also served from 12 to 4pm, is priced at AED 120 per person.
