Jones the Grocer launching two new UAE stores
Australia-based Jones The Grocer has opened a new store in Dubai, with another on the way in Abu Dhabi.
The Dubai outlet opened in Al Safa on April 23 and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Abu Dhabi store in Al Muneera will follow in a few weeks.
The new stores will offer Jones’ coffee selection, cafe-style dishes, artisanal groceries, and European delicatessen.
The design of the new stores will feature stone floors, blackened steel cladding, and mirrored ceilings, as well as displays for cheese, teas, pastries, and delicatessen. The Abu Dhabi store will also include a charcuterie area, and both will have outside seating area.
Commenting on the regional expansion, Jones The Grocer managing director Yunib Siddiqui said: “The new outlets mark the beginning of a second phase of expansion. Since our opening in September 2009, Jones the Grocer has become the ultimate food lover’s destination in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi and with this in mind we have started to roll out our expansion across the UAE.
“This spring will be a landmark period for Jones The Grocer with the opening of these highly anticipated new stores in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. We are excited about our growth and the opportunity to continue to bring gourmet food to our customers.”
To celebrate the launch of the two new stores, Jones The Grocer will also introduce a new menu from April 28 at all of its UAE outlets.
