Al Rawdah gears up for growth at Gulfood 2017
Al Rawdah is expecting a 5% growth for fresh chicken through 2017, and is gearing up to meet new demand, the comapny announced in a recent release.
The brand is also expanding its products across its fresh, chilled and frozen chicken lines with new chilled chicken breasts, frozen tandoori chicken kebab packs and 8-piece braai packs of fresh chicken breasts.
Last year the company told Caterer Middle East that a new farm in Abu Dhabi being built by Emirates Modern Poultry (Al Rawdah) to produce fresh chicken and frozen chicken products will more than double the company's current output.
In an interview with Caterer Middle East, GM sales and marketing Jeanette Kristensen Alhaider said: "Our new fresh packaging is designed specifically to further improve hygiene and freshness at the point of consumption."
Al Rawdah is looking to expand its food service products to Qatar and Oman.
