The Palm Jumeirah finally has new F&B offering to entice visitors, offering a beachside experience of Mediterranean cusine.

Gusto, located at the boutique Al Shalal Beach Club managed by the Fairmont Palm Hotel and Resort, boasts culinary influences from Southern France, Italy, Greece, Spain and the Levant,

Head chef Mustapha Benhadou, a 15-year veteran of Mediterranean cooking, explained that the concept aimed to offer diners “the feeling of a Mediterranean beach experience within a distinctly Dubai seascape”.

“Gusto’s patrons will take a virtual culinary journey around the Mediterranean,” Benhadou said, adding that the menu would comprise a range of dishes including  pizza, pasta, risotto and grilled meats.

“We only use fresh ingredients, believing in the power of premium products, and make a point of serving the highest quality food based on what is available in the market,” he continued. “A healthy lifestyle begins with eating fresh food.”

Fairmont Palm Hotel and Resort general manager Darrell Sheaffer added: “Gusto is our first food and beverage venue on the iconic Palm Jumeirah and is an excellent culinary centrepiece for the Al Shalal Beach Club that is certain to be enjoyed by club members and Palm Jumeirah residents alike.”
