Pink Elephant found in Gulf
Pink Elephant, Portugal’s increasingly popular rosé wine, is now available in the Gulf.
The off-dry rosé, created by established winemakers Jose Neiva and David Baverstock, was showcased in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain earlier this year as a precursor to the launch.
Brand owner 10 International announced that it had agreed distribution terms with Intagulf, a UAE-based trader of foodstuffs and alcoholic beverages.
Intagulf managing director Mark Rogers commented: “We are very optimistic about the future of this wine; it’s a growing brand with great potential.”
10 International director Bill Rolfe added that he considered the Middle East to be “a new emerging wine market that cannot be ignored”.
