The Middle East’s first floating hotel, the QE2, has revealed the six different F&B venues available beneath its deck.
Permanently docked at Mina Rashid marina, the ship, which made 1,400 voyages and hosted 2.5 million passengers in its lifetime, offers everything from casual coffee shops to elegant fine dining.
Lido is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with an international buffet on the quarter deck.
The Queen’s Grill, which back in the day was visited by the Queen herself, is a fine dinging venue serving refined British cuisine with a twist on the classics. It also has a dedicated gin bar.
The QE2’s Yacht Club has been restored to its former glory, complete with its original bar, and offers a terrace which will be open during the cooler months for a view of Dubai’s impressive skyline.
For the more traditional British pub experience, The Golden Lion has a wide selection of draught beers and offers pool tables and dartboards for entertainment.
Q Café, adjacent to the QE2’s lobby is ideal for observing the bustling activity of the hotel and is open from early until the small hours.
And finally, located next to the casino museum is the Casino Coffee Lounge which offers a selection of hot and cold beverages as well as a family afternoon tea from Thursday to Saturday.
