Thomas Klein to design project in Sudan
Thomas Klein International has been appointed F&B consultant for a destination restaurant at the El Seref project in Khartoum, Sudan.
The 40,000ft² site, due to open early next year, is owned and managed by El Seref Tourism and Hospitality, and the total investment inclusive of interiors and kitchen fit-out is estimated at approximately $8 million.
Thomas Klein International managing partner Daniel During said the size of the space, coupled with the history of the site, made for a “very interesting project”.
“The biggest task now is to devise exciting concepts for such a big space,” said During. “Due to the location of the project, we are working on a concept that will position El Seref as a destination restaurant for both locals and tourists,” he added.
