DXB Cucumber Carnival rolls into town
Following the success of DXB Cucumber Day, Hendrick’s is coming back bigger and better this year to present an elevated and unusual experience in the form of DXB Cucumber Carnival at Soho Garden on October 17 and 18. DXB Cucumber Carnival is an action packed, festival-style weekend packed with performances, tastings, workshops and shows happening in tandem, all weekend.
Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy diverse performances from international acts such as The Electric Swing Circus and sporting feats involving hobby horse polo, cucumber croquet, tug of war, rose and spoon race, three-legged race and Cucumber Cup horse race.
On October 17, attendees can enjoy The Feast (AED 250 per person), a banquet style set-up consisting of Hendrick’s inspired dishes, such as a Hendrick’s Gin and tonic cured salmon, grilled New Zealand lamb chops and pan roasted chicken breast with truffle mash potato. Whet your whistle with free-flow of juniper infused libations presented by a world class mixologist.
High Tea (AED 250 per person) will be served from 3-5pm on the second day of the festival. The selection includes mini sandwiches and sweet treats such as Hendrick’s citrus and pink peppercorn eclairs and Hendrick’s poached strawberry tartlets all hosted by Victorian style characters Henrietta and Archibald, who’ll top up teacups with Hendrick’s Gin and Tonic.
DXB Cucumber Carnival will take place on October 17 and 18, 2019 at Soho Garden. Entrance is free.
