Over 80 Global Restaurant Investment Forum (GRIF) members met in Dubai to host the latest networking and knowledge exchanging event in partnership with Atelier EPJ.
Held at Atelier EPJ’s Weslodge Saloon at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, the latest GRIF Society meeting included speakers such as Syed Muhammed Ali, CEO and founder of Mingora Consult; Duncan Fraser-Smith, director – global food and beverage at The First Group; Ronald Huiskamp, business owner at H-Hospitality; and Darren Tse, commercial director – concessions at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The event was followed by a networking reception at Hotel Cartagena, also operated by Atelier EPJ at JW Marriot Marquis Dubai.
Launched at the 2018 Global Restaurant Investment Forum, GRIF Society is an international community of member investors, innovators, and inspirers of the restaurant world. The Dubai event was the second in a global series of industry briefings, culinary tours, advisory board meetings, and networking receptions, which kicked off in London in July, with further events planned including Nairobi (October 2) and Riyadh (November 28-29), culminating in the sixth edition of the Global Restaurant Investment Forum taking place in Amsterdam from February 25-27, 2019, in partnership with NH Hotel Group.
