F&B recruitment firm Food People and restaurant performance company Mingora Consult brought together eight of the industry’s top people for a ‘leaders dinner’.
The inaugural event was held at The Duck Hook, the latest JRG Dubai outlet, and outgoing JRG managing director Emma Banks was among the attendees.
Food People founders Luke Truin and Greg Wright hosted the dinner with Mingora Consult’s Ali Muhammed Syed, with the aim of bringing F&B leaders around a table to network and discuss the industry, hopefully sparking collaboration and information sharing to improve the sector as a whole.
Other attendees included Domenic Di Deo, group CEO of Cravia Inc, Nadine Benchaffai, co-founder of Taqado Mexican Kitchen, Andy Holman, CEO of Ethos, Mert Askin, president of F&B at Azadea Group, and Kieran Mallon, former managing director at Al Futtaim.
Truin and Wright told Caterer Middle East that they hope the event will be bimonthly or quarterly, with the next one potentially taking place in Saudi Arabia.
