Giffard brought a selection of Innovative flavours to Gulfood 2018.

Speaking about the new offering Giffard international marketing manager Romain Burgevin said: “It’s a dynamic market. It’s led by coffee shop trends so we need to produce more innovation to add new flavours every year to expand the range.

Speaking about the popularity of syrups in the Middle East region, Burgevin said: “There is a lot of consumption in terms of syrups and also in terms of tea and coffee flavours. Also with mocktails this market is very demanding. We have a lot of work here.”

After launching in France in April, Giffard has just started rolling out its refreshed packaging in the region. Burgevin explained: “The goal was to make more of an emphasis on ‘Made in France’ because one of our specificities that we decided were are still produced in France. For us it’s very important especially for the quality.”

The new packaging features ingredient-inspired hand-drawn illustrations. Burgevin concluded: “We like to make more of the ingredient because for us it’s very important.”
