Restaurateur Natasha Sideris launches cookbook

Natasha Sideris, creator and founder of tashas restaurants and Flamingo Room by tashas, is launching a cookbook, tashas Café Classics.

In this cookbook, Sideris shares some of her favourite recipes and the most popular dishes from the café menus. Recipes in the book will include salmon fish cakes and parmesan chicken couscous to salads and tashas chicken pot pie. 

The cookbook includes more than 150 full-colour photographs.


Sideris will be signing her book, priced at AED 180 (US$49) on Friday, May 4, at tashas Galleria, Dubai from 1-3pm, and on Saturday, May 5 at tashas Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi from 1-3pm.

She opened her first tashas branch in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2005. Since then 16 more have opened their doors in South Africa, with another three in the UAE.

Most recently, she opened Flamingo Room by tashas at Jumeirah Al Naseem, her first concept restaurant in Dubai.
