Home-grown concept The Roost Rotisserie opens in Dubai
The Roost Rotisserie, a homegrown concept, has opened its doors in Dubai.
Located at the new API 1000 Complex, Al Wasl Road in Al Manara, Jumeirah, the restaurant offers a menu that is completely hormone-free and antibiotic-free, with an in-house rotisserie-spit.
The menu showcases a variety of dishes that include rotisserie chicken, available to order in different sizes - The Fifty (Half), The Full Monty (Full) and The Flock (three whole chickens) alongside a selection of different 'crops', from truffle and parmesan or oregano and sea salt fries, corn on the cobb with lime and parmesan, and broth-infused brown rice to name a few.
Accompanying sauces are all made in-house from scratch with a twist, including a healthybarbeque sauce, and a banana ketchup with sugar-free content. Salads are also available using locally sourced produce where possible.
Desserts include the Eastern European-inspired Kurtos Kalcs, which is made from sweet dough wrapped around a truncated cylinder–shaped baking-spit and placed in a specifically designed rotisserie oven. Once golden brown and crispy, the pastry is rolled in selected coatings, then filled with a variety of flavours: jammy dodger, jaffa cake, apple pie, and dulce de leche.
