The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences and José Andrés’ ThinkFoodGroup will launch the Spanish F&B concept Jaleo in 2019.

Since its debut in Washington, D.C.'s Penn Quarter in 1993, Jaleo has expanded to various cities including Bethesda, Maryland; Arlington, Virginia; Las Vegas; Mexico City and Disney Springs, Florida.

Commenting on the concept, Andres said: “I am thrilled to be bringing Jaleo to The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences in Dubai – our first restaurant in the United Arab Emirates, and an incredible and majestic destination.”

At Jaleo, plates are designed to be shared. The menu will feature authentically Spanish dishes and local ingredients. The restaurant will feature assortment of signature tapas, traditional small plates of Spain, savoury paellas, as well as a wide selection of Spanish cheeses.

Atlantis Resorts & Residences chief operating officer Serge Zaalof said: “With a shared vision for culinary excellence, we see great synergy between The Royal Atlantis and José Andrés. As one of the most influential chefs in the world, we have no doubt that the arrival of his authentic and celebrated Spanish concept will be another great addition to the culinary offering at our property.  Working closely with valued partners such as ThinkFoodGroup to create truly unique dining experiences, The Royal Atlantis is set to deliver an eclectic mix of culinary experiences unrivalled anywhere in the world.”
