Umi Shio, a new Japanese fusion pop-up concept, has opened at Summersalt at Jumeirah Al Naseem in Dubai.
Created by Japanese/Argentinian chef Cristian Goya, Umi Shio will be open from now until mid-May 2019, serving a blend of Japanese and South American flavours.
Designed to encourage sharing, the new menu includes roasted langoustines in a sweet and sour sauce, seabass sashimi, and miso caramelised eggplant, plus much more.
The restaurant can cater for up to 90 diners both inside and outside, with views of the Burj Al Arab.
Um Shio is the first representation of Jumeirah’s ambitious F&B plans, led by CEO Jose Silva and chief culinary officer Michael Ellis.
