The latest chef to take up a position at Capital Club Bahrain’s inspirational Chef Series is Spaniard Paco Roncero.
Roncero rose to prominence as head chef at Terraza del Casino in Madrid which won two Michelin stars and three Guia Repsol suns.
Additionally, Roncero also won a myriad of prestigious culinary awards such as the Chef L’Avenir 2005 Award, by the International Academy of Gastronomy and the National Gastronomy Awards 2006 by Spain’s Royal Academy of Gastronomy.
As part of his stay at Capital Club Bahrain between January 15 to 17, Rancero will aid in the support of young chefs at the Bahrain Institute of Hospitality and Retail (BIHR), teaching them how the fast-paced world of technology can be incorporated into enhancing a culinary experience.
Capital Club Bahrain general manager Sumeet Jhingan said that it was a “huge honour” for the private members club to host a chef of such high caliber, adding that his experience, skill, and years of knowledge and expertise will serve as the stepping stones of inspiration to the young aspiring chefs of BIHR.
