New Lebanese concept opens in Downtown Dubai

Beirut Khanum is serving ‘forgotten Lebanese dishes’

A new restaurant which serves ‘forgotten Lebanese dishes’ has opened up near Souk Al Bahar in Downtown Dubai.

Beirut Khanum hopes to recreate the cooking that a ‘Lebanese great, great, grandmother would prepare in her kitchen’ and pays homage to Al Khanum, a female royal and aristocratic title.

Customers can enjoy an array of traditional Lebanese dishes including a signature hummus, kebbah in yogurt, shrimp frikeh, and shisk tawook.

With hard to ignore yellow seats and shisha on offer, it aims to reproduce the authenticity of a true Lebanese outlet on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard.
