Multi-award winning Jose Avillez will open his much anticipated restaurant Tasca in Dubai in March.

Avillez’s other restaurants Tavares and Belcanto have one and two Michelin stars respectively, so much is expected of the concept that has opened in the new Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Dubai.

It’s among six F&B venues in the hotel, with the other signature restaurant being Netsu, a Warayaki-style Japanese steakhouse by Australian-born chef Ross Shonhan.

The other concepts are all-day dining at The Bay, Noor Lounge, The Mandarin Cake Shop, and pool bar Sun Vibe.

Caterer Middle East will be interviewing Avillez about the new restaurant soon.
