Michelin star winning chef to showcase at Shangri-La Al Husn in Muscat

A chef who has won a Michelin star for his previous restaurant in London, Rohit Ghai, will be at Sultanah at the Shangri-La Al Husn Resort & Spa, Muscat for three nights only from March 14-16, 2019.

During this visit, Ghai will create a menu featuring his trademark interpretation of Indian cuisine. Ghai earned a Michelin star within 10 months of opening Jamavar in London’s Mayfair.

His international career began in 2008 when he joined Michelin-starred Benares in London’s Mayfair. In 2013, he became the executive chef of two Michelin-starred restaurants, Trishna and Gymkhana.

Originally from India, Ghai recently launched his first solo venture, Kutir, located just off Sloane Square in the upmarket Chelsea neighbourhood of West London. Meaning “cottage” in Sanskrit, Kutir offers authentic traditional Indian cuisine with an emphasis on seafood and seasonal ingredients from various regions of India.
