Contemporary Japanese restaurant Kyo has re-opened following its move along Palm Jumeirah.

Kyo has taken up residence at The Pointe, moving away from The Golden Mile, and is now a licensed premises.

Spread across two floors, it offers unrestricted views of the Gulf and Atlantis, with both indoor and outdoor seating options.

Head chef Arturo Mendez will offer authentic Japanese cuisine using fresh ingredients, at what has been described as “competitively priced”.

Ahmed Ragab, the owner of Kyo, said: “We have spent months making the restaurant a jewel in the crown of The Pointe and cannot wait to welcome our first guests.

“The team are taking the best of what Kyo has always had and adding to it. We truly believe The Pointe is a culinary revolution for the city and we are right at the heart of it.”
