Masaharu Morimoto hosts Dubai chefs for dinner

Morimoto, Renaissance downtown

Renowned Japanese chef Masaharu Morimoto brought together a number of well-known Dubai chefs for a meeting of minds at his Renaissance Downtown Hotel restaurant this week.

Morimoto, who was in town for Taste of Dubai and to check up on his concept in the city, invited a number of culinary figures from across the city including: Gilles Perrin, director of culinary at Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai; Leonardo Maltese of Bice Mare; Alfredo Albergatore of Luigia; Colin Brown of Ciboney’s; Alexander Stumpf from BB Social Dining; Timothy Stanhope of The Address Montgomerie; Moritz Neuman of La Ville; Dave Fitzsimmons of Bagatelle; Rudolf Eichele, assistant vice president at production, Emirates Flight Catering; and Lioc Mendil, assistant vice president at F&B department, Emirates Flight Catering.

The group shared their knowledge and passion for the food industry at the dinner in collaboration with Classic Fine Foods.
