A new Indian restaurant has opened in Four Points by Sheraton, Downtown Dubai, offering authentic Mughal flavours.
Purani Dilli takes many of its dishes from the streets of Old Delhi, with a heavy Mughal influence, and provides them to diners in a minimalistic yet elegant setting.
Afroz Alam, sous chef, Purani Dilli, Four Points by Sheraton, Downtown, said: “Purani Dilli at Four Points by Sheraton, Downtown will treat guests to Old Delhi’s grand past with our novel menu. Guests can relish flavours from Delhi’s erstwhile royal culinary heritage with our popular dishes like nihari, biryani, kebabs. Drawing inspiration from the assorted offerings of chandni chowk and jama masjid, our desserts boast of unique treats like chukandar (beetroot) halwa, infused into all-time favourite halwas and chutneys. Purani Dilli is all about relishing fine flavours in a minimalistic, elegant setting.”
There will also be live entertainment from singers, and Insta-worthy visuals including a rickshaw.
