The second Dubai location for Syrian restaurant Sah El Nom has opened on Bluewaters Island.
Promising “authentic Damascene-Syrian flavours to the UAE” according to a press release, it follows the previous opening of the concept at Business Bay.
The restaurant is based on a Syrian TV show Sah Al-Nawn which refers to social traditions in the country, and the authentic menu is aimed at friends and families, with a special kids’ menu available.
Some examples of the traditional food available include baba ghannouj (grilled eggplant blended with tahini, yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil and pomegranate molasses), yalanji (rolled vine leaves stuffed with rice and vegetables), and ghapama (baked pumpkin stuffed with rice, minced meat and nuts).
Sah El Nom is located just metres from Ain Dubai, the world’s largest ferris wheel.
