For diners with particular dietary requirements, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi has four specially tailored menus to suit vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free, and shellfish free needs.
With Global Wellness Month coming up in June, the Asian concept is drawing attention to its menus to let diners know they will be taken care of at the establishment.
Head chef Lee Kok Hua said: “There is a misconception around Chinese cuisine regarding health properties, we are proud to showcase how we source the finest ingredients and tailor dishes throughout our menus. We want to ensure that all our guests can enjoy great taste, whether from our full a la carte menu or dietary specific offerings without compromise.”
The dairy-free options include Peking duck, abalone mango salad, and supreme dim sum platter, while vegetarians can enjoy tofu and aubergine claypot in black bean sauce . Those who prefer gluten free dishes can indulge in fried soft shell crab, braised superior seafood soup, or the charcoal grilled Canadian lobster. The shellfish free menu features grilled vegetarian Shanghai dumpling, jasmine tea smoked Wagyu beef ribs and crispy duck salad.
All the dishes are available to order from the a la carte menu.
