The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority closed the kitchen of the Radisson Blu Abu Dhabi last week, according to reports.
The National reported that the property on the Corniche had its main kitchen closed from Thursday 16, May to Sunday 19, May for reasons including a failure to provide proper food storage and incorrect training procedures.
According to the newspaper, Thamer Al Qasimi of the ADAFSA said that the offences posed a threat to the health and safety of consumers, while Abu Dhabi National Hotels, which owns the property, said the kitchen had closed for "refurbishment" and was fully operational again.
All other kitchens and concepts in the hotel were unaffected by the closure.
Radisson Blu only took over operation of the hotel from Hilton at the start of the year.
