A new Filipino food festival is hoping to encourage over 100,000 consumers to dine at its participating outlets in the UAE from June 12 to July 12.
Set across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Filfood Fest is a collaboration of F&B operators to improve the quality of Filipino food and champion its produce.
There will be a number of demonstrations and talks from Filipino chefs including John Buenaventura, the new cluster executive chef for Al Seef hotels.
The new festival comes off the back of the Filfood conference held in Abu Dhabi in February which saw delegates from brands including Jollibee and Chowking discuss innovation, sustainability, and growth in the Filipino food market.
The UAE has a large Filipino population but the Filfood Fest team will be hoping it can reach out to a wider range of the market through the festival and let people know about the delights of food from the Philippines.
