Tom&Serg to host first Eat DXB events

A collection of Dubai’s top F&B personnel have launched an initiative to help celebrate and grow the city’s food community.

Formed by enigmatic food writer Food Sheikh and Bull&Roo founder Tom Arnel, Eat DXB will bring together a host of top chefs based in Dubai for activations and events to promote the city.

The first two of these events will take place at Arnel’s Tom&Serg restaurant in Al Quoz on June 16. Eat the City is a collaboration between students from the International Centre for Culinary Arts and top chefs including Reif Othman, Greg Malouf, Liz Stevenson, Mohamed Orfali, Scott Price, Nick Alvis, and Arnel himself.

It will feature a collaborative menu priced at AED225, with all profits going to the Dubai Cares charity.

The second event, Eat Talks, will take place the following evening. A speaker-led event, it will involve talks and conversations from the likes of Arva Ahmed of Frying Pan Adventures, Luma Makhlouf of Maiz Tacos, Neha Mishra of A Story of Food, and Emirati poet Salem Al Attas.

Tickets for Eat Talks are priced at AED185, and can be purchased for both events at Tom&Serg.
