Jessica Prealpato is the winner of The World’s Best Pastry Chef Award 2019, as chosen by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Prealpato is the chef patisserie at the three Michelin-starred restaurant Alain Ducasse at Hotel Plaza Athenee in Paris.

The pastry chef works under head chef Romain Meder at the restaurant, and she thanked both Meder and Ducasse for their help in winning the award in a post on Instagram.

Alain Ducasse at Hotel Plaza Athenee is currently ranked 12th on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List, with the 2019 list set to come out on June 25.
