Contemporary Emirati concept Seven Sands has appointed Abdullah Yahya Alshhadeh to the role of head chef.
The Dubai World Trade Centre owned restaurant located at The Beach in Dubai’s JBR has brought in Alshhadeh to develop new dishes by sourcing the best local produce and marrying it with his own creativity and in-depth knowledge of local food.
Chef Alshhadeh brings over 10 years of experience to Seven Sands, having previously worked as specialty chef for venue operations at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Prior to joining the culinary team at Dubai World Trade Centre, he held, amongst others, the positions of executive chef at Siraj Restaurant in Souk Al Bahar, chef de partie at Fairmont Dubai and demi chef de partie at Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort.
“We are delighted to welcome Abdullah,” said Saad Tassoufra, operations manager at Seven Sands. “His strong skillset in Arabic cuisine will help take the restaurant to the next level. We are currently in the process of developing over 25 new recipes for our new menu which is set to launch in June.”
