A new restaurant inspired by aviation and air travel has opened in Amman in Jordan.
Hangar1 is the first restaurant to open in The Valley, Campbell Gray Living Amman’s boutique retail space in the downtown district of Abdali.
It offers a comfort menu featuring the likes of steaks, chicken, burgers, and fries, in a venue with walls adorned with the art of the ‘Banksy of Malaysia’, Ernest Zacharevic.
“Campbell Gray Living Amman is a project with a vision, which has been realised at every level of our development – from the architecture to the residences themselves. Hangar1 is part of this vision and thanks to its unique theme and aesthetic, I am certain it will really stand out in Amman’s restaurant scene,” said Saad Audeh, chairman of Campbell Gray Hotels and founding member of the Audeh Group.
The interior of the restaurant draws on aviation aesthetics, with many elements styled or actually made from old aeroplanes.
