Coming from the Michelin-starred Shang Palace at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong to Shangri-La Hotel, Abu Dhabi, chef Liu Wai-Yeung will take over the capital’s Shang Palace for a three-night event.
The event will feature Cantonese cuisine with a set menu from 21 to 23 November 2019.
The eight-course dinner set menu includes dishes such as deep-fried stuffed crab shell, wok-fried cod fillet with red bean curd sauce and sautéed wagyu beef diced with asparagus and mushroom.
Wai-Yeung commented on the collaboration: “It’s a true pleasure to showcase our Cantonese traditions and I’m delighted to bring the Michelin-star experience from our restaurant in Hong Kong to the guests and residents of Abu Dhabi.”
