Following an extensive renovation, The Meat Co. Souk Madinat Jumeirah has re-opened for business.
A pillar of the restaurant scene in Dubai for more than 15 years, the African steakhouse now has a completely new look with an open plan kitchen among the changes.
Aesthetically, the team has gone for a combination of modern luxury with traditional African influencers, while the deck has been expanded for views of the iconic Burj Al Arab.
The menu has also seen some changes with top quality steaks sitting alongside seafood dishes. Among the newcomers are venison tataki and wagyu bilton, while the sea bass fillet with mussels, buttered baby boy choy, Salicornia, and pea shoot is sure to please the non-meat eaters.
For vegetarians, the team led by group executive chef Praba Manickam has revealed crunchy Brussels sprouts and endives, and homemade spinach and ricotta tortellini stuffed with datterini tomato sauce.
On the entertainment front, there will be live performances from duo Nati & Jules every Saturday from November 23.
