A restaurant inspired by Turkish, Lebanese, and Moroccan cuisines has opened at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR.

Replacing District which closed back in January, Asil will offer a restaurant, bar, lounge, and terrace experience all rolled into one.

The restaurant will fuse the flavours of its three influences to create authentic dishes with a contemporary approach such as hummus tantouni which is a twist on the popular Turkish street for tantuni served over Lebanese-style hummus.

In traditional Arabic fashion, dishes will be served sharing style to the table.

Drawing inspiration from the famous bar districts of Beirut, Istanbul, Marrakesh, and Casablanca, there will also be a wide range of cocktails and mocktails on offer at the central bar.

The lounge is ideal for those looking for a secluded setting for intimate gatherings with friends, while cigars and shisha can be enjoyed there or on the terrace.

There will be a daily line-up of entertainment including a henna artist that will be on-site offering complimentary henna for female guests, and Turkish music producer DJ Mustech will be playing a mix of house-inspired Arabic and Turkish sounds nightly.

Asil is open daily from 1pm to 2am.
