Raffles Dubai is marking the upcoming Eid Al Adha with a special Arabic cooking class that will raise money for families affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Led by the hotel’s executive chef Hassan Abdallah, the event on Saturday, July 25, will allow customers to cook along with the chef in an interactive class before sitting down for a three-course lunch with soft drinks.
A percentage of proceeds from the event will be contributed towards Dubai food tour company Frying Pan Adventures community outreach program that sees local restaurants cook meals for those in need and has gifted more than 3,000 meals so far.
Foodies who join the class will learn how to cook Arabic delicacies such as baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, kibbeh bil laban, and mouhalabia, with each guest provided with a dedicated and equipped workstation.
Priced at AED320, the experience starts at 11am, and will follow social distancing and safety measures as laid out by current regulations. Limited seats are available so booking in advance is required, pre-paid, and non-refundable.
