Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah appoints executive chef

Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah has appointed Sandro Falbo as executive chef.

Falbo brings with him extensive experience in the luxury hospitality industry along with an extensive skill-set gained from a worldwide career spanning over 35 years.

The Italian national will be responsible for managing all culinary operational aspects of the hotel’s six restaurants and bars, including Peacock Alley tea lounge; all day dining venue Mezzerie and two signature restaurants — contemporary Italian concept, Social by Heinz Beck, and LAO, a Southeast Asian restaurant offering a modern twist on traditional Vietnamese fare.

Drawing from his wealth of expertise and global experience, Falbo will be responsible for developing and evolving the menus and dining concepts, hiring and training team members, as well as ensuring the hotel continues to provide unrivalled service.
