Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences, Abu Dhabi, brings in new executive chef

Abu Dhabi’s Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences has appointed Hanna Dib as its new executive chef.


Dib has been brought in to try and breathe new life into the hotel’s Limo Restaurant, while he will also oversee the menus and operations for Bab Al Qasr’s other concepts including Artisan Kitchen, Loop, and Morjana plus its banquet operations and in-room dining.


Bab Al Qasr general manager Vincent Mercurio said: “We are thrilled to welcome chef Hanna to Bab Al Qasr Hotel & Residences. He brings with him a plethora of knowledge, passion and luxury culinary experience and we look forward to all the ways he will redefine our culinary offerings for guests.”

Dib previously worked at Grand Hyatt Dubai and The Address Dubai Mall where he pioneered the concept for its Mediterranean Restaurant.


Speaking about his appointment to Bab Al Qasr, where he is expected to focus on pan-Arabian flavours, Dib said: “Food is not only my career, it is my passion. I find it exhilarating to bring people together through food, by creating unique and memorable dining experiences for guests.”
