Made in Dubai, Zafi Hot Sauce is formulated from a family recipe more than 70 years old featuring ginger, peppers, garlic, onion, vinegar, and salt, with locust beans being the ingredient credited for giving its unique flavour.
Completely plant-based and gluten-free, it comes in three flavours to suit any spice palate.
The first level of heat is named Demure. With a modest heat level, it can be tolerated by newbies and is the perfect addition to salads, sandwiches, burgers, or even Bloody Marys.
For those looking for a bit of a kick, the next level is Sultry. Here the scotch bonnet is cushioned with sweet green peppers and capsicum, making it ideal for dips, noodles, soups, and marinades.
Fiery is the hottest available Zafi Hot Sauce. Made from scotch bonnets measuring in at 100,000-350,000 Scoville heat units, use this for adding spice to your jerk chicken, curries, or stir fries.
