Tell us about the range of products that you offer?

Our portfolio consists of 40 different ranges containing 1,700 individual items, offering solutions to every dining requirement from banqueting to finger food, from formal fine dining to casual speciality concepts. All of this is backed up with a service package based on a state-of-the-art warehouse, decoration and distribution centre here in Germany, and extended through a world-wide network of distribution partners. We offer our customers a package of sustainable quality products, design solutions and service excellence. From the initial pre-sale consultation through to our post-sale service and support, our emphasis is on building a trusting and long-term relationship with our customers.


What is your new launch or product for this year?

Hygge, a new design concept that was launched at the recent Ambiente Exhibition in Frankfurt.

What makes this product standout from its competitors?

The concept draws inspiration from the Danish expression hygge, which describes a comfy, exuberant, vital and hip Scandinavian lifestyle. Hygge has been deliberately designed with lines that are not straight, seemingly imperfect, lending the range a flawed charm. The six floral patterns all feature a look and colours that accentuate the handmade character of the concept. At the same time, the high quality of the decoration is emphasised by gold-coloured highlighting which is a recurring element in all six variations. Schönwald applies Hygge to a mix of items from the Unlimited, Shape 98 and Fine Dining collections.

What is your most popular product or collection for the Middle East market?

The bestselling shapes by volume in 2017 were Connect and Allure. The hottest trend products on the other hand are currently Shabby Chic, Islands and Playground.
