Home-grown Baker & Spice is running an iftar pop-up dinner series named 'The Opposite Kitchen' in Copenhagen from June 2-8, 2018

UAE's home-grown restaurant, Baker & Spice, is taking the tradition of iftar to Denmark in Ramadan 2018 with a pop-up activation that will run from June 2-8.

The brand has partnered with Copenhagen restaurateur, Safi Enayat of Indian restaurant ‘Dhaba’ to create The Opposite Kitchen, where up to 50 bookings can be accommodated each night. Danish chef William Milsted is also involved in the project.

The initiative is held in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in Denmark.

A majlis that seats 50 will be set up at the Copenhagen Food Space. Traditional oud players and a variety of entertainment and food, will give diners an authentic iftar experience. Attendees dressed in traditional GCC attire can dine for free.
